I look back at her from the corner of my eye and see a tear sliding down her face. "Are you crying? Why? You couldn't have gotten attached that quick." She keeps her head down and I groan, "Ugh, please stop crying." She wipes her face and sniffle, "Why are you crying?" "Because the old man promised me that you would take care of me. He lied to me, you're taking me back to that place." I throw my head back and close my eyes shut. By old man she means my father. "Okay, okay, okay. Alexia Lambre had never been a truly 'normal' girl, because she had always had the added 'bonus' of telekinesis. At least, some might call it a bonus. Alexia would call it a curse, because throughout her entire life she worried about someone finding out about it and taking her away. Someone did find out about it, but not the government like she assumed would happen. She was soon offered a place at what was called 'The School,' a place for people like her to learn about their powers. When she arrived though, she learned otherwise. She makes friends with the other kids, and they all join up against the scientists at the school, those that like to do tests and even experiments on them. Will the group ever escape the school? Or will the appearance of a new teen and 'experiment C' do them in?Concluída

In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Life was never normal for Victoria but it got significantly more confusing after her parents sudden death when she got sent to live at a college at the age of fourteen. Now she is 18 and is finding that she isn't sure the college is so safe anymore. There might not truly be a safe space anywhere for her. What will happen when a group of secretive guys decide it is their job to be her protectors? And better yet does she need their help? Sky grew up in an underground city. The whole city was in fear of a war happening, which is the reason for the life the people lived underground. The only way the people can breathe fresh oxygen is by a hole in a hidden room that leads up to the surface. The hole and the room are guarded by burly guards, and only people over the age of eighteen are allowed to leave the underground city to collect resources. Sky dislikes these arrangements, however. She wants to see the world with her own eyes before she reaches the age of eighteen. Her plan works, but a few minutes after she goes outside, she gets kidnapped. Is it safe for Sky to escape and return home? Or does she have to stay trapped forever?Concluída
