I've heard it ever since I was a child. From my parents, from my friends, from my teachers and in places all over the internet. Everywhere you go. Even if you ask a magician themselves they'll tell you. 
"It's not magic, just tricks of the trade." Or "it's just an illusion, a concept created by slight of hand or science." 
There's never anyone talking about the possibility of actual magic, a 'Real Fairytale'. 
But not once, did I ever stop believing.
