Evie doesn't know much about who she really is. Her entire life, she's been passed from pillar to post, position to position in "families" that serve only one purpose; making the cover story of MI6 agents believable.   

She doesn't let herself get too comfortable, seeing as she hasn't spent more than a year  in one of these cover families. A year is enough, she has learnt, to get attached to your surroundings; something Evie cannot afford as a secret services cover child. 

However, when she is ripped away from her 23rd position and the closest thing to a mother she's ever had, Evie finds the strength to search for answers. Who is she really? Will she ever truly have her own identity? Will she ever have the right to just be Evie?

The adventure of a lifetime takes her to the hectic streets of London, and with the help of a floppy haired boy and some pretty great friends, she takes the right to an identity into her own hands.
