"Look officer, I can't talk much but I need you to come to my house, there is a guy trying to hurt me. My address is 123 Carol Street. Bye." I hung up.

"They're coming mom." I told her. She just nodded her head. All of a sudden, we hear a loud band and see that my moms bedroom door flew open. Somehow Tray saw me and started walking towards me but before he made it, my mom hit him in the head with her bat.

We walked down stairs and waited 10 minutes for the police to show up and while they walked Tray to the front door he chuckled evilly and said "The others will come for you."

Cassie Williams had a good life. Well, up until her junior year of high school. A jock - football quarterback to be exact - hit her with a football. After that day, he only got meaner. Others started joining. Cassie has been depressed ever since that day. Now she's a senior and things are the same. When Cassie tells her mom about what happened, a couple days later, the jock went to her bedroom window and knocked on it. Cassie being the curious cat she is, she opened her window and got a little surprise. Lets just say she got sent away by her mother to live in LA where she should be safe. But that doesn't happen for long. She meets famous people, finds out some interesting thing, and finds love.

~~

Come on the journey with Cassie, guide her through, and maybe, just maybe she might see the light at the end of the tunnel by the end of the book.

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19

Avery wrapped an arm around my waist to catch me before I could get out the door. He pushed me up against the door, trapping me between his body and the door. "What's wrong?" I asked innocently. His face hovered over mine, much closer than I was used to. His gaze didn't leave mine as he spoke. "It would have been different if I had told him from the start. You wanted me to lie for you. You started this. If we tell him what really happened, he would be pissed at me for lying to him." "Stormie, you got a phone call!" Mason yelled up the stairs. The closeness between Avery and me started to make my legs feel like Jell-O, and I couldn't make sense of it. Our breathing became heavier. His eyes trapped mine. "Answer him," Avery murmured. "Uh," I stammered. I cleared my throat. "Be down in a minute!" My voice came out higher than usual. My gaze still couldn't escape Avery's. My heart raced wildly as his chest rose and fell against mine. Avery's gaze flickered to my lips. What's happening? My gaze fell to his mouth, which was moving closer to mine. Stormie West is brave, kind, and young. She has a lot to learn about love, trust, lust, and heartbreak. Stormie's older brother, Mason, is brave, cocky, and a bit of an asshole. He's the wide receiver for the high school football team. Avery Prince is Mason's best friend. Avery has it all, popularity, star quarterback, and girls. And when my turn to go comes and you're no longer here I'll crawl back to your grave-to you; one last time. *** Zach opens the glove compartment and takes out a cassette that had written my fuckin' mixtape bitch on it. He slides the cassette in the radio. "Whoever made this, deserves an award." They chuckle. Corbyn furrowed his eyebrows as he slowed the car down. "Holy shit dude... look." It was the route 66 sign, completely intact. "Let's take it." Zach says impulsively. "Oh it's fucking ours already." Corbyn shifts the gears and parks the truck next to the sign. Zach gets out of the car and gets behind the sign to take it off. Corbyn looked through the rear view mirror and saw the road they had made together. The faux blond had made a long distance from Virginia. He stopped in Dallas, where he met Zach. He looked back at the brunet, taking the sign off its hinges. They didn't go way back, but he knew Zach was a loyal one. He was the last man standing of his group. Yep, just the two of them against any and all enemies. Both are always saving each other from danger. In fact, they can even sense danger. "Put your hands where I can see them."A man puts a knife on his throat. Corbyn looks at the man. Bright blue eyes, platinum hair, and a deadly cold expression. "How may I help?" He asks with a sweet expression on his face.
