It wasn’t then. It wasn’t now. It was her, no matter how much I drowned. I drowned in wonder, in thought. She was always there to save me when I got in too deep. This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret.
