WHEN ESTA NOVIC closes her eyes, she can see the entire universe. Shimmering silver feathers of stardust, colliding comets, vast unihabited worlds, black holes sucking the life from neighbouring stars. Supernovae collapsing into void. She is descended from the cosmos, galactic blood glowing liquid sapphire in her veins, stars crumbling like glimmering grey ash in her palms. But this gift is a blessing and a curse, for although Esta has the universe in her very bones, she is burdened with it too. Because although she can influence the celestial, it will not bow to her. The girl can see the fate of every soul she encounters, every life, love and terrible death, but there are times she is hopeless to help. She would rather reject her star-born lineage than watch someone she love die, no matter how she tried to save them. Hands tied, Esta feels a walking catastrophe.

THAT IS UNTIL a child of the moon crosses her path with his chocolate-stained palms and eyes like silver storms. Because Esta might not be able to see Remus Lupin's fate, but with every touch of his scarred hand, she can feel herself falling. Maybe there's a reason to save the world after all.
