He threw his notepad and pen at the table in frustration, he had been trying to get her to talk for what felt like hours. While the man buried his face into his palms the girl reached over and quietly grabbed the discarded objects. She flipped to a new page and began to write. The scratching of the pen made the officer look up. The girl put down her pen and stood from her chair, she walked over to the door and knocked waiting to be let out. The man took the book in his hands and looked over the words. "I waited too long, suffered too much, hurt too many, and lost too much. I refuse to wait for something that will never arrive. I refuse to suffer for a useless cause. I refuse to hurt any more. I refuse to lose more than I already have. You gave much too little far too late and I grew impatient. I saved myself. Be thankful I did your job for you." •-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•All Rights Reserved
