I let out a slight moan into his lips, and my breath grows heavy. We part for a gasp of air before meeting back with more of my muffled moans. A faint thud-like sound catches my attention, and I start to pull away to see what made the sound. My lips retreat, and I take a faint breath before clearing my mind to think logically. As I pull away, his lips simply continue to kiss my chin and down my cheek. Another gasp slips from my lips, and this one echos through the hall. "I..I think...I...I heard something." I whisper as quietly as possible. He lightly pulls away to take a small breath before smiling. "I didn't hear anything. It's nothing." He pushes aside.... During the ancient times of Greece, lives the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. All her life has been sheltered from the mortal and immortal world. When her desire for a taste of freedom goes too far, she seals a deal with a man she will never escape... Enjoy this retelling of the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone! I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.
