Valdimir prepares for a trip to the underworld, paired up with an immortal pet owner, whom she has a dislike for, but is somehow essential for this mess.
But things are not always what they seem, and often on trips like these, you get to know more than what you bargained for. Secrets unravel, about the past, about the people around her and the cat she had been keeping in her castle.

A foolish plan, with extremely poor execution
In a slit second Valdimir was on him, throwing him on the ground she gripped his collar in a tight grip.
"Why are you running away?" She asked in anger, shaking him furiously against the ground.
"I can't take her back. You cannot return her." Ezlynn held Valdimir's arms, stopping her from drilling him in the ground.
"What the fuck do you mean?" Valdimir growled, trying to shake Ezlynns hands as they gripped her in a tight hold. She pressed him further in the ground.
"It's the third day of adoption. On the third day, everyone decides they no longer want to keep her. You can not let her down, please." Ezlynn gritted his teeth with a wince, he opened his mouth to say more but halted as he looked at Valdimir.
"She is not in the castle anymore," Valdimir replied in a shaky breath, her grip loosening around Ezlynn as strength and resolve left her arms.
"Someone broke in and took her from right in front of me, and I wasn't able to do anything."

One of the men knows she is special, Sage is shattered, will one of them be able to pick up the pieces and put her back together but in a twisted way?
