A Summer Semester

Charles and Thea Barton are twins, best friends and now attending the same Big Ten College, The University of Michigan. Charles aspiring to be a dentist and Thea dreams of becoming a doctor. Both recieved baseball/softball scholarships to play at the University. Thea on a whim enters herself and brother into a sponsored summer scholarship at New York University where they can shadow respective doctors within their area of study. Thea being the one who has a way with words wrote on behalf of her and her brother without him knowing. In the middle of the Winter semester they both find out during an away game the big news. The twins would be spending their summer in New York, states away from their family.
Its an opportunity of a life time, a game changer if you will. New York is overwhelming for both the small town teens as they begin to develop a new rhythm within their new surroundings. Charlie meets his lab partner another winner of the scholarship summer program; Lucas. Lucas is from California and was actually studying medicine in his 3rd year at Harvard. Lucas is intelligent, fun and a bit of a know it all. That is until he meets his suitemates sister, Thea. Thea and Lucas at first did not get along, there is clearly some tension between the two but they say opposites attract and something sparked between the two of them will send them down an avenue they were not prepared for. Maura is Thea's suitemate and love interest of her brother Charles. Charles actually knows Maura from Spring Training during his baseball season. She plans to move to Lansing, MI for medical school in the fall - but is it enough to hold their spark strong?
