The Nikara Cycle

This cycle of episodic stories is focused primarily on the world of the Lower Astral Plane that is a parallel sphere of existence with the mortal physical realm. In the stories, this plane is set mainly in San Francisco. This is a world with its own rules and dangers. Here those who fall away from the process of Reincarnation may wander among strange creatures, slavers and organized crime societies. The organization that protects and guides the lost humans are the Yamadutas. They are the main characters of these tales which focus on their adventures.

In 'The Necromancer' we meet Crimson Cooper. He is a former prison warden on the move in the San Francisco political world. The secret to his success is his use of necromancy. However, ghost-slaving the dead and interfering in the Cycle of the Reincarnation brings him into conflict with the mandate of the Yamadutas. Both he and the Yamadutas discover there are deeper forces at work behind the scenes.

A boy. A ghost. Both are trapped, but there is one difference; she has no hope. She watches him in the shadows. He is everything her life wished for. Her sensitivity toward human life might just help her out. But that's not the only problem. His unrequited love burns on. And she knows once they die, he won't care for her. He will care only for the girl named Ayumi. (Edited) DISCLAIMER: I only own the small bean of a main character, nor do I own the pictures used for when I made my cover.
