He missed his daughter truly, he always thought about her... but... he had to not show weakness and vulnerability in front of anyone. He kept his head up and let his boastful self take over.

He never intended on coming back to Earth, the threat of evil being released too great and only he could stop it. But when a larger threat works to over-throw him, Lucifer finds himself returning to Earth to protect Chloe and their friends.
