Have you ever heard of the story Peter Pan? Filled with characters like Tootles, Nibs, Curly, Slightly, and The Twins, Tinkerbell, John and Michael, and most importantly Wendy.
The Wendy fell in love with Peter and they became friends. She was e first 'Lost Girl.'
Or maybe Jane, Wendy's daughter who meets peter and pines to go home, because she doesn't believe.
Those characters are fake. It was all a lie.
For there was no Wendy or Jane. There was just me.

I took a breath and quickly wiped a stray tear from my eye, "I'm tired of living in their shadows, waiting for them to finally realize that I still exist.
