Analese Williams; After just 3 years attending her local Junior college in Rosemount Minnesota, in the field of Applied Physics; she was recently accepted into the illustrious and rather prestigious college of Dartmouth, located Central New Hampshire, to achieve her lifelong dream of being an advanced molecular materials scientist. However, no sooner did she transfer, and move to the city, than things go seemingly off the rails. Within her first few weeks of school everything seems to be getting more and more "otherworldly" in ways that no "sane" person would expect. For starters; orientation went in a direction she never expected. She somehow was given a crash course into a realm of adult sexual chemistry she never dreamed of. Now she's finding herself repeatedly being exposed to a strange seemingly "supernatural" under belly of society that has somehow permeated all aspects of her life; including her own field of "Applied Physics". But weirder yet, she's not entirely sure if it's real, a fantasy world that a large group bored college students made up, some drug induced psychosis or something far darker and more profound that has some how influenced her cognitive thinking and tainted her ability to discern reality from self induced fiction. All she knows is that she's finding herself questioning her very sanity at every turn and wondering if she's lost her damn mind, been given some sort of hallucinogenic drug, or just stumbled across a thick underlining current within mainstream reality that society carefully overlooks. All she knows it that what ever the hell "this" is; the common consensus of the modern mainstream realms of "Science" and society refuses to acknowledge it, nor seem to even want to discuss it's existence, Which means that whats ever the hell this is; it's more clandestine than she can possible imagine, or is all completely in her head and she really is "batshit" crazy. But first she needs a shower, a bowl of ramen, and sleep....

Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. And then one night while heading to go get her friend she's taken and thrown into a world she didn't know existed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Remi?" Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. I see the real meaning in Jen's eyes. Her worries for going home to her overly strict parents. Her fears for the future and the unknown in general. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.
