EDIT- Discontinued as me and my ex are no longer even friends, so I have no idea how to keep going with this AU anymore. I'm sorry. If anyone has any ideas on what I could do with this AU, I'd love to hear it. 

I came up with the idea of this AU a few weeks ago, inspired by a few separated AUs I saw on Instagram, and I thought I'd try making one myself!
I can't guarantee I'll update this a whole lot, and with how this AU is laid out, most of the chapters may be centered around Leo and Donnie, until I can figure out how to write one-shots with Raph and Mikey.
In this AU, Raph and Mikey are raised by Splinter, whereas Leo and Donnie are raised by my OC and my GF's OC.

It wouldn't be surprising if Leo got some unneeded criticism from his older brother, Raph, after Leo suddenly became the leader of him and his brothers. Mikey was always the one who tried to make things better, but he noticed things between them all have changed. Donnie is more obsessed with his lair and invention. Raph likes to cause fights with Leo at times and everything is just chaos. Mikey decides that after he's done with a single fight, he goes off to try and gain some peace, but he runs into someone. Big Mama's so-called assistant was discarded after Big Mama gained "Shadow Fiend", so the assistant ran off in fear of being killed. But the odd thing is that there is more to the mutant than meets the eye. For one, she's a mutant turtle hybrid and is living on the streets of the surface. So what happens when her usual stealing is stopped by Mikey? A friend of mine made the silhouettes of the turtles but I made the cover with Canva. ROTTMNT belongs to Nickelodeon, as does the assistant. But the theory belongs to neither me or Nickelodeon. I own the plot.
