Turning 15 was supposed to be really awesome. You were close to getting a license and have some freedom. You could get a car. You were close to having a Sweet 16 party, even though sometimes people didn't. You could get a job soon and buy for your own things. And, you were closer to becoming an adult and had more responsibilities.
Martha Johnson was no different than any other 15 year old. Well, that was what she had thought.
On her fifteenth birthday, Martha figured out 6 things that had changed her life forever.
  1. She was in a clan that could turn into Wolves in a designated area, her backyard.
  2. There were 2 other clans besides the one that she was in, and they had been fighting for centuries upon centuries.
  3. She had this big job to make sure that the three clans were working together to protect everyone and everything. She was the Almair after all. The Almair meant that she can shift into all three animals. They were the Wolf, her own form, Horse, and Tiger. And that explained the mysterious mark on her wrist when she had turned 15.
  4. She was also the True One, meaning that she was the Keeper of the Stone and could actually kill the Dark Forces, which were evil creatures that were attacking her.
  5. She had a twin brother who was a wolf everywhere. They were called Wolfins.
  6. And finally, something or someone is trying to kill her before she finds out more about herself.
Can she survive high school with danger always seeming to find her? Can she become the one thing that she thought wouldn't be possible? Can she figure out who was trying to kill her before it's too late?
Find out, in 'The Year of the Wolf'

72 parts Complete Mature
This story is not always going to make sense, ive been sporadically writing it for the past year ish and its more of a vent book then something to be taken seriously. Im sure between the months alot of details have been missed or forgotten, but i have tried to stay as consistent as possible despite. The full story is stretched out over a few different books. All under the same title "I feel like i've lost years i haven't lived yet" Trigger warning: Eating disorders, Sexual assault, Rape, Violence, Severe abuse, kidnapping, Basically anything that you could think may be talked about in the book, it probably is. ------------------------ "Is this finally my life? Do i hold it with both hands? Do i try to live?" Carson is a child who has been in and out of the system for years. Her history leaves something more to be desired from life. More that she can never seem to reach. Atleast, not until she meets Phil and his family, that is. Phil is a man packed full of grief. Having watched his wife die right in front of him in a devestating car accident, he found himself unsure of if he was still fit to raise his boys. Hell, Phil was unsure of alot now a days. So when he got the call asking if he was willing to take in a severely abused young girl, Phil almost said no. But when he looked down at the three boys sitting in his living room, laughing at a random cartoon on an early sunday morning.. Phil couldn't find it in himself to say no to taking the girl. Would this family work out and become a home? Or would Carson be doomed to dift around foster care until she, inevitably, turned eighteen? ------------------------ Once again i am in no way a professional nor do i ever intend to be. Alot of these chapters are slightly based on some experiences ive had, specifically family, sibling, and or friends wise. I use this book as a way to vent my feelings on alot of situations i have personally experienced, while still trying to make it make some sort of sense.

Welcome to Willow Tree Stables, home to the famous "horse whisperer" Mary Lane. At age 15, turning 16, Mary had worked with abused horses her whole life, with the help of her mother and her friends. They helped them get to trust in humans again and make the unrideable horses rideable. However, like most people, there are secrets that she kept from people and people kept from her. The biggest one is about her father being the famous, yet mythical, Santa Clause. Sure, she knew that he was her father. However, as time went on, Mary had forgotten about her father and just thought that her mother was the only one that had lived in her life. Another secret is how she became known as the "horse whisperer". She could speak to animals in her mind, but is she the only one or are there others like her, who can talk to animals with her mind? What happens when a boy comes into her life, and all she thinks about is how aggravating he is? Sure, he knows the secret about who Mary is, but she doesn't like him one bit, even though her best friend likes him from the start. Will she figure out who she is before it's too late? Or will she perish at the hand of something or someone that doesn't want her alive? _______________________________________ NOTE: IF YOU READ THIS BOOK ON ANY OTHER APP BESIDES WATTPAD THEN IT IS COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. . : Book One : . Melody is a member of one of the five tribes of animal shapeshifters who live beyond the human domain. These people have the ability to shapeshift into particular animals when they come of age in their tribe, attending something called the Ceremony. When given the chance to escape from her family, she jumps for it, spiraling into a world of mystery, danger, and unexpected surprises. But unknown to her, the spirits of the underworld have broken loose, and are tracking her every step. Why they want her, she has yet to know. But she will soon. Friends become enemies and families are reunited only to be broken apart. Whether she survives will be up to her companions as they race to right a world that has fallen drastically out of balance. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * A haze darkened the edges of my vision and my knees buckled. This was too much, way too much. In half a day, my life had been turned upside down. Just as I was about to fall, the raven transformed into a boy and caught me. The bird had just turned into a boy. What the heck? What was an Avian doing on Lupine territory? * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * After much debate, I decided to discontinue this second book and series. I love the world and I built and the characters with all my heart but the writing is incredibly outdated and the plot progression is all over the place. I may reuse these characters in the future, but this series has come to an end. I'm sorry to the people who wished to see the story continue, but I hope you'll be able to join me on future fantastical journies once I have time to write more! * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * First Published: Dec. 20, 2018 Finished: Mar. 31, 2020 Finished Publishing: 5-23-2020
