A few months after defeating Arthas menethil, Tails was officially announced to the universe as the newly deemed Universal Guardian. Though, the fall of The Lich King wasn't the end of it. Gallo, the very son of Arthas himself, was set free from his curse bound by his father, and was released into a dimension with pure power. Gallo, with newfound strength, made it his personal mission to destroy Miles, and then slay the Universe herself. The Universe, understanding this immense power, set Tails to find four people to band together, and defeat Gallo once and for all.

Science can explain anyone on Mobius... but not Sonic. Why is it that the one we think we ought to know the most about is the one we actually know the least? Set in the future when our heroes have grown into adults but are still fighting for freedom, all it takes is for one little disturbance to set off a chain of events that might just reveal exactly how and why the 'fastest thing alive' earned that title in the first place. "The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and you do not know where it is going." -(John 3:8)
