You could see it on every inch of him. His hands were red and shaky as he spun a silver ring around his pinky finger. Tears poured from his squinted, puffy blue eyes and his mouth was in a slight frown that could break your heart with one glance. He was the kind of sad that was trying way too hard not to be.

You watch Luke sprawl over the couch, blood bag clutched in his hands as he sucks happily on it. He smiles at you, teeth bloodstained. "You're a dork," you ruffle his curls while he continues sucking on the bag. He mumbles something against the bag as it quickly drains, some of it dripping down his chin. "Wait until you're finished to start talking, silly." Luke drains the bag and tosses it aside. "I said thank you for getting me blood. How did they give you any, you're not registered?" You smirk at him, wiping the blood off his chin with a finger. His eyes catch the red liquid and they turn a deeper red. You're completely prepared for when he grabs your finger and greedily sucks the blood off it. As you pull your finger out of his mouth, you feel the brush of his fangs.
