This is MY AU of Undertale. I'm creating a story so that when I make the comic it will be easier because I already have the dialogue. Now, I don't know if anyone is going to read this, but if you do, please don't steal my creation. I have spent hours upon hours creating my AU and it will break my heart to see someone steal my hard work. Now onto the description.
InferusTale- King Asgore has been murdered by Chara. Chara has become the new Queen of the underground. Toriel and Asriel have gone into hiding. Undyne has been forced to become the Queen's Royal Captain of the Royal Guard. Sans and Papyrus are doing everything they can to secretly help Undyne save the humans. The Underground has become literal hell and Queen Chara won't let anything stop her from taking what's hers.

It's not easy to not be haunted by things in the past. Especially when those things from the past just won't stop coming back. They won't stop coming back, and they won't stop trying to steal your future. Not unless you try to fight for it. So, this is a Frisk x Sans story that I had originally written over on Deviantart. If Asriel Never Died
This is the story of Undertale. Everything goes along perfectly normal like it does in the game, with Asriel and Chara meeting, they make the pie for their dad, he recovers from the flowers, Chara dies... Though there is a change. When Asriel goes to the surface to lay Chara's dead body on the flower bed in the middle of the human village, and he gets attacked, he turns back before he dies. And this one, simple, turn of events, changes everything Okaay so, this is an old book. Nearly two years now, tho I don't remember the exact time I started it. Thing is old me didn't know how to write stories very well, and so in my supposed free time starting in a week or two I'm gonna try to edit this so I can feel a lil better about it. Also, this story is COMPLETED, so don't expect any more updates. I also drew the cover.) A long time ago, the first human fell down into the ruins. A monster named Asriel came to help her, and quickly accepted her into the family. However, a disease fell upon the young child, and she died shortly after. Years later, a 7th human fell down into the ruins. However, the spirit of the first human took over her body, and decided to take out her revenge on the monsters of the underground. This society would gradually be challenged by the Solar Warriors, a rebellion that directly opposed his rule, sparked by tensions risen by the difference between SANS's mundane autocracy and his father GASTER II's militaristic dictatorship. {NOTICE: Please be mindful that this take contains visceral descriptions of violence & gore, domestic violence, and child abuse.} However, all of this would skyrocket thanks to the sudden introduction of one human child named Chara to the monster society. An outlier amidst the many fallen humans, she was allowed to live her fullest life in spite of SANS's various promises to his people to shatter the barrier which held the entire species in submission, a grand conspiracy. This would all culminate in one human's intrusion into the world of monsterkind known only by their stage name Shifty. Chara must now overcome her own deep-rooted demons and evade the ruthless Solar Warriors in order to become the western hero she always imagined herself as, protecting both her loved ones and the broader monster kingdom from the tyranny that METTA has rebirthed to bestow. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). It's the same beginning. Isn't it always? (Y/n) is a neko (a cat-like human) who has fallen in more ways than one and will now have the pleasure of being stuck in the Underground with the Master of Flirtation, the Pie Queen, the almost Psychotic Ghost and other somewhat funny names for the rest of the monsters in the Underground. The barrier is broken, monsters and humans are living in peace, everyone is happy except for one person. Frisk has been getting waking nightmares about not saving Asriel. They want to save him to erase all guilt and to be with their friend. But Asriel isn't the only one that needs to be saved. Something, someone lurks inside Frisk's soul. Someone deadly and has a hunger for power, and can kill anyone they want. A/N Frisk and Chara are both gender ambiguous in this story.
