Katrina Ross was one of those girls, who loved to dream, until the nightmares happened. The first night it happened she had fallen asleep reading a book from one of her favorite book series but, as she was sleeping, half awake, she saw a boy through her bedroom window watching her with confusion. He wore a black hoodie and black jeans. His eyes were so dark they appeared to almost be black. He wasn't a goth, though there was something in his eyes that made him look at her as if he needed her help, but she took it the wrong way and woke up screaming and crying. Her mother ran into her room asking what had happened and Katrina explained so her step father checked the front yard, but no one was there. They told her it was only a nightmare and that she would be okay. Katrina had the same nightmare every night and believed that it was just her imagination so she began to ignore it and he eventually disappeared from her thoughts for she no longer believed he was there so she stopped looking. Years passed and she is now happily married and has twin sons and a little girl, but she can’t help but wonder why the boy ever appeared. For what she didn’t know, was that I never left. This is my story.
