The scream of a child... It was Calypso. I jumped up on my feet and didn't even bother to brush myself off before diving back into the maze of woods. The scream had come from the right so I headed in that direction. I ran through a bush and I probably got many cuts, but then, all I wanted to do was get my sister. The same scream sounded again and this time I could form out words.
"HELP!" My sister screams and wails. My eyes start welling up. They couldn't do this. They couldn't take my sister away. The only spark of light in the darkness of my mind.
Scarlet is a 20 year old woman. Her and her sister Calypso, have just been recently been teleported to this fascinating world where they fight to stay alive. Once Calypso dies, Scarlet navigates her way around to a beautiful place named Rivendell where all her adventures
start. In this book, Scarlet forges on forward into her life, finding hope that she did not know existed.

The Odyssey of the daughter of the forest
In the dark forest of Mirkwood, shadows are growing, again and again. The leaves are becoming black, as the roots, and as the trees. Birds are not singing anymore. Flowers have disappeared. A young elf with red hair is fighting every day for her people, who is retreating before its enemy, who is sending his troups from his black tower, in the south of Middle Earth. Orcs are coming, more and more numerous on their lands. The company of Thorin Oakenshield from the Blue Mountains will not succes to put an end to this invasion. Their fight will just postpone the deadline, by sacrifying many lives, and destroying many others. And by seperating for a while the path of two lovers, who are destined to meet again. Sixty years later, the elf joins the fellowship to save Middle Earth, once and for all, from the threat that are gliding above its people, for a long time.
