"Christine, I love you." The phantom's voice played a sweet tune in my mind. It was the first time he had confessed his love, but sadly, I couldn't return the favor. He had given me everything, fame, fortune, and a life of excitement and curiosity. Still, he had threatened to hang my beloved Raoul and sentence me to an eternity locked away from the world.
