Cross and Epic both where child-hood best friends. They both are best known for being the meme-lords and stuff like that. 
But when they first met, at the age of: 16-17, Epic started to have feelings for his own best friend.. 
Epic always wanted to ask Cross out but he neither gets: interrupted by someone else,(mostly Dream) or he'll just get nervous.
So.. he gave up. 
But one day, Cross asked Epic to talk with him alone..

So, Epic agreed. When they both were at OuterTale, Cross sat down and stayed silent for a while. But when Cross finally told Epic how he actually feels about him.. Cross said that 'he always wanted to be in a relationship with Epic' and told him that Cross loves Epic..
They both were quite despite it was kinda awkward to tell someone how you actually feel about them. So, after a while Epic pulled Cross towards him and deeply kissed him.

And ever since.. they both started dating...
