Luz returned to the human realm after the summer ended, and Amity decided to push her feelings down for this human girl, and act like how her parents view her. As the years go by she is assigned to marry a male, forced by her parents. But unexpectedly Luz pops up to study the boiling isles, and Amity doesn't know how to feel about this, should she avoid how she felt for Luzs many years ago and act happy with her husband, or confess her love to Luz and split up with her husband.
