Mutiny

Infection spread across the globe. High fevers leading to uncontrollable seizures causing death. No known cure. After tens of thousands of deaths there was a lone survivor, but the virus had somehow caused his body to mutate with an ability to control the minerals. Not more than a few days later another survivor popped up with another ability, and another and another and another. Survivors were surfacing all over the world with weird mutations. However they developed symptoms cause by their "gifts" and were outcasted. Eventually a cure was found and the world was right again but what happened to the survivors?
