And just like that, everything fourteen year old Astrey Fern had known, vanished in an instant. She had just apparated with her mother to a rather large periwinkle house, with a flower field stretching far into the distance behind the house. She looked at her mother, and pulled her into a tight hug. Her eyes watered with the memories of her friends at Ilvermorny, and all of the wonderful sights she had seen in America, her whole life, gone, just like that. Why had her mom accepted that position at the ministry? Why couldn't she have just stayed the way she was, why was her mom's stupid job more important than everyone and everything she had? "Do I have to go to Hogwarts? can I not just take courses at this house or something?" Astrey whined. Her mom smiled encouragingly "It'll be fun to change things up a bit! Besides, I heard the famous Harry Potter goes to Hogwarts too!"
