Faint music can be heard coming from the studio as Luke and I stay out here with the light from the swimming pool reflecting on us. I can hear his soft breathing coming from behind me as he stops pushing and let's me sway to a stop.
I turn around to see his eyes looking at me with a slight look of admiration. His eyes are even more blue from the pool lights reflecting around us. He reaches forward and pushes my hair to the side so he could see my face better.
I've never felt so enamoured with a boy I hardly know before. Maybe it's because he's not a boy, but a man.
"I keep forgetting you're only 18" he almost whispered "you don't look it".
"Should I take that as a compliment or an insult" I smile back still whispering.

Ashton is okay right now. He's always like this after a bad bout. He starts off saying that the world is his oyster and he loves everyone, but when the energy and fresh success fades, so does he. Luke knows. He knows about all of Ashton's problems. He knows about the time Ashton was bullied nearly to the brink, the family deaths and friend losses, and the ups and downs, the latter of which seem to be more common lately. It's been so easy lately for Ashton to slip after a joke gone wrong, or a jab on Twitter. Ashton always says he's sorry, repeating it again and again if only to convince himself. Luke knows he's sorry, knows that he can't help it. And he'll sit by the bathtub for hours, holding Ashton, to make sure that he knows someone loves him. None of the other boys know. Ashton couldn't bring himself to tell them and face their disapproving stares too, and he wouldn't let Luke tell them, so he's stuck in this half state of secrecy and confession to Luke. Ashton hasn't gone too far yet, not far enough that Luke can't patch him up with gauze, antibiotics, and a long hug. One Of The Hemmings
Skyler Aviana Hemmings. The youngest of the Hemmings family. She used to be the bubbly, kinda girly sister of Luke, Jack and Ben. Luke's age is the closest age to Skyler's, thus her and Luke has a stronger relationship. But everything drastically changed when Luke's band became very well known and he'd tour for a number of months. She grew distant from everyone except for her friends Percy, Avan and Drew. She started locking up in her room all the time, dying her hair, getting piercings and tattoos, and would stay at Avan, Drew or Percy's house more often. Just like her brother she is musically inclined. She can sing, play the guitar and drums, and of course write music. She belonged in a band called 'Monsters In Your Heads' as the drummer and singer of the band. Whenever Luke comes home she would take off her piercings, dye hair blonde, and wear baggy shirts and shorts as well as foot socks to cover her a tattoo she got below her ankle.
