Bewitching The Alpha

She immediately hides behind a tree to rest her calves that are already aching because of her continuous running. She's been running long enough. Not sure where to be headed. Doesn't even know what's waiting for her on the path she's taking in that forest. As she hides behind it, she leans on it and inhales deep and fast to catch her breath.

But her rest didn't last long.

Her spine stiffened when she heard the sounds of dried leaves that's been trampled and crushed somewhere behind her. Her heartbeat immediately became erratic again.

With that, she slowly stepped away from where she's hiding and walks away slowly, making sure not to cause any sound that might be the reason to track where she is.

But stop and shivered when she heard an angry growl behind her. Right there and then, she ran as fast as she can. Not sure where to go. She just keeps on running.
