I hate his laugh.
I hate his voice.
I hate his hair.
I hate his face.
I hate the way he acts.
I hate how I'm lying.
I hate how he has me wrapped around his finger.

MOST OF ALL, I HATE HOW I DON'T HATE HIM, NOT EVEN A LITTLE. NOT EVEN AT ALL.

My name is Aisha and i am 17. My life is normal except I have just a slight, little, minor crush on a boy named Parker Carraway that never seemed to fade. The more I try to not like him, the more I like him. He's just....irresistible. Okay I'll admit it, it's more than just a crush but that's it.

Oh how i wish it was.

"How many romance books do you read?" Devin asks me. I shrug. "I like them," I say. I keep browsing, running my fingers along the spines. "So, you like romance then?" he asks me. I nod. "What's your favorite part of a love story?" "I like the very first kiss, but I like the second one even more," I say. I bite my lip and look at him. Oh. My. God. What the hell am I doing? Am I flirting? I think that I'm actually flirting. With Devin. Devin, my best friend. I have officially lost my mind. I should probably stop. But I can't seem to. "Will you grab me that one?" I ask. I point above my head, my back's pressed against the bookcase. He locks his gaze on mine and reaches over me to grab the book I asked for. "Thanks." I don't move and neither does he. Riley and Devin have been best friends forever-since Kindergarten. It's Senior year of high school, now. And it's always been simple, Riley's got his back, he's got hers. But as life goes on Riley can't help but wonder if maybe he's not just her best friend, if she likes him as possibly something more. As her feelings deepen and become something greater it becomes more evident that she's falling, really hard. No matter how hard Riley tries she can't stop falling, she can't stop from loving him. Even if it tears her to pieces or even if it destroys their friendship. Pretty soon Riley is going to have to choose between walking the safe line of friendship or taking the unpaved path of love. Will she risk everything for love?

My best friend, my crush, my childhood love and soon to be husband. Beside him there was his elder brother totally opposite of Derek. He was my tutor. Although I've always loved Derek, i don't know how his elder brother had the power to froze me on my place. Everytime my heart races when I see him. He makes me nervous just by looking at me. He's strict as a teacher. He's disciplined as a lion. He's perfect as his father. But the problem was I don't like perfect things. I've always believed that anything that shows to be too perfect is never the perfect one. Some people are too good to be true. That's what I feel whenever we cross paths. Everytime i gulp my saliva. Everytime i bite my lips. Everytime my heart skips a beat . Everytime i look at his eyes i feel like he has so much to ask and so much to tell but he never talked to me. Never ever. We only communicated in tution hours and exchange only a word or two. I never saw him looking at me but still i feel like his eyes are pinned on me.That's how he makes me feel only by standing infront of me. Keeping all this confused emotions aside i agreed to get married. To Derek. And that day everything changed cause Derek didn't showed up at the venue. I was standing there with a broken heart and tears. And that day i had to take a decision. A decision that can change my whole life. For good? For bad? I don't know. © All rights reserved.

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

I could hear her footsteps running behind me; so I intentionally made long steps. When I stopped and turned around she bumped into my chest and about to fall. Suddenly I urged myself to breakdown her fall. But she closed her eyes and got ready to take the fall; she looked like a baby in fear, it's kind of cute.I grabbed her with my arms around her slimy waist and her little hand too. She fits right into my arms. My heart skipped a bit when she opened her eyes and looked at me. Her eyes went wide when it captured mine. Her eyes sure have some magnetic power. I can't take my eyes away from her. We both are too close; that I could feel her breath. When reality hits I slowly made her stand on her own and moved back. I threw the book at her. She looked at me with confusion. I showed my anger at her for acting like an innocent person. I know the reason for my anger is that she disappointed me when I thought that she was different. But to my surprise the one who left the book at car was Hanna. I can't make myself to say sorry to some idiotic random girl. So just walked back when I suddenly heard someone calling me by my name. "Nicholas" she yelled. I turned around to see the same small girl standing there. How dare she call me by my name? She gave me a grin with her hand folded to her chest. She tries to act like tough girl but it's too cute to watch. So I just stood there. But she went out off limits and questioned me if I like her? Me? Like? Her? No way ! Here comes our protagonist Candice called Candy - Chatter box but cute and friendly to everyone. No one could hate her except Nick. Nicholas called Nick- Handsome but arrogant, college senior who thinks the earth revolve around him. How do these two opposite poles have them attracted????

An internal voice whispered, "Call him." But I chose not to. I dismissed it once more, saying, "He never liked me anyway." Yet the dilemma lingered. "But maybe he does.
