kendall whitmen is a 17 year old boy, who is still very much in grief of his mothers dead that happend so suddenly 5 months ago. his father couldn't handle living around all the memories he had with his wife and decided it was better if they moved. he bought a very old farmhouse that's on the edge of collasping, in a very small town somewhere he has never heard of before.

when he moves there he meets Vanessa bloom, a always happy girl that seems to never get sad. to Kendalls annoyence Vanessa is set on creating a smile on the boys face.

is the happines that Vanessa beings in his life enough to make him want to stay.
