This book contains a collection of twisted fairytales.  So twisted are they that they almost reverse the original telling. No more waiting for Prince Charming! No sir, these princesses take their fates into their sensible and capable hands.

Note: The plot ideas are mine but some of the fairytales are loosely based on ones I've read but have not been entirely satisfied by or just wanted to revisit. Mechanica is based on the book "Mechanica", Blanche on "Mirror Mirror" the movie, Rebbecca is mine, Sapphire is based on the Ingo Series by Helen Dunmore and Freya is loosely based on "The Woodcutter's Daughter" and "East of Sun, West of Moon".
