Ever After High: The Real Legacy

- I wasn't staring," he chirped out, voice quivering slightly. "You just... walk loud."

Maleficent chuckled, low and amused. "Loud? Or unforgettable?" He teased the young prince, cocking his head to the side coyly.

Raiden's mouth opened up in disdain and disgust; his entire face twisted up like he smelled something foul. "This is your creepy roommate?" Raiden looked him up and down, far from impressed.

Suddenly a blur shot out from behind a cluster of students, Derrick. He moved fast, shoulders squared, eyes cold.

His fist slammed into Maleficent's arm with explosive force, twisting it sharply as if it were a joint of steel. The rails on the staircase groaned, cracked, and then shattered under the impact.

Maleficent was blasted off the stairs, spinning through the air and then slamming down on the lower level. The noise was a terrible crash, causing a smoke cloud of dust and debris around the impact. Had Maleficent been anyone else, a hit like that would've been death.

Students scattered. Divine's mirror pad hit the floor and cracked. Darieth stood frozen, the aftershock still ringing through his bones.

The air crackled. Students screamed, and all Divine could do was watch the destruction. "Oh my crown..." she whispered under her breath.

Raiden hustled his relatives off of the steps getting them away from the crossfire. "Come on let's get off front lines!, I knew this was gonna happen but not so soon!?" He said in a huff laughing.

Derrick shook out his right hand, jaw set, eyes cold. Looking more beastly today. "Thought I wouldn't see your ass again huh, It's on!, get up you piece of shit!,"

Dust swirled around the shattered cement on the floor, hanging thick in the air like a curtain. Students froze, wide eyed, some pressed against walls, others whispering to each other and recording.
