Oak Valley Academy: Meeting Ella

This is the first short story in my short story series, Oak Valley Academy. This series is about the members of this public school in a small town called Oak Valley in North Carolina.

Olive Samuelson has just been uprooted from bright, sunny Texas to dull, grey North Carolina- and she hates it. Accompanied by her mom, dad, older sister Kiko, and little brother Andy. When Kiko invites a girl from the neighborhood for Olive to get to know, she despises the girl at first. Ella is jumpy and gossip-loving and perky- the opposite of Olive. But when Kiko unexpectedly hurts Ella, Olive and Andy must find a way to get revenge on Kiko- and apologize to Ella.
