I had my head held high, I walked down the great hall as elegantly as I had done the year before with the other students of Beauxbatons. Expect this year I was no longer a beauxbatons student, I now attended Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am 15, nearly 16, and it's my first proper year here. Peoples heads turned as I walked down the hall, smirking, commenting, judging. I could hear whispers and feel the glares but I ignored them. I made my way to the table of teachers.
"Hello Professor" I smiled as they turned there heads in response.
"Yes, hello Miss Riddle, are you ready to be sorted?" Professor McGonagall said returning my smile.
"Yes" I turned and sat on the stool as Professor Dumbledore introduced me, some clearly recognised my name others obviously didn't, but at this point I didn't really care.
Professor McGonagall placed the sorting hat on my head...
