"Why can't we go out there and fight for ourselves? We stand here like cowards while we watch our people fight for their lives." (Y/N) says to her parents.

"Because they choose to fight for us. We lead them into battle to protect our lives." William, (Y/N)'s father, explains to his daughter.

"Well I want to fight with them. I have this extraordinary gift and I can use that as an advantage to help us against the zombies and the our rivals." (Y/N) said starting at her father in the eyes pleading that he will say yes.

Kayla, (Y/N)'s mother, just watched as her daughter try to explain to her father that she just wants to help her people. It pains Kayla to see them fight.

"I said No (Y/N). I need to keep you, your siblings , your mother, and the entire village safe. How would I do that if i worry that u won't make it back to us if your out there? So the answer is no, that is final".

(Y/N) just started at her father, her face showing no emotion but anger and sadness.

"I know how to fight because that's what you and Uncle have been teaching me my whole life. How are we supposed prove ourselves if you won't even let us go outside!?" (Y/N) yelled, anger showed in her eyes and as well disbelief.

Her father just stared at her with no emotion. Her mother just stared at her wishing she could say something but couldn't.

Y/N sighed, shook her head and walked away putting the argument at rest for now.

He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. [COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. Cannibals by AriannaCortez387
23 parts Complete Mature
I stood there leaning against the door for a second. Then screams reached my ear. I looked to where it came from and saw a girl at the other end of the hall laying on the ground with a gaping hole in her stomach. Three other students had ripped away at the girl's insides and were chewing it up. One paused for a second and looked up at me. He stood up and I panicked. I knew him. He was in my chorus class. August was his name. He had blond, curly hair, blue eyes, and was probably the tallest person in the entire school. August opened his now bloody mouth and let out a screech that sent chills down my spine. He leaped over the other two cannibals and the now dead girl and broke into a sprint. As soon as he leaped I had also started running. I made it out of the 300 hall and hid behind the vending machine that stood at the entrance of the hall. Seconds later, August was standing just inches from me. He looked around and I stayed as quiet and still as I possibly could. I didn't even breathe. After what seemed like years of waiting, August turned back toward the dead girl and walked out if sight. I stayed where I was for a little bit longer until my lungs demanded I start breathing again. Directly in front of me was the library and cafeteria. To the right of the cafeteria was the auditorium and the music hall. "If I could just make it to the chorus room maybe I'll find some of my friends," I thought to myself. I was about to take my first step when I looked down at my shoes. They were brand new and when I walked, they squeaked. I took my shoes off as quietly as I could. I had my Captain America socks on and I knew I'd have to take those off as well. I just couldn't risk slipping. Once my feet were bare I took off in a quiet sprint towards the music hall. How awesome is that cover though!? Lol my dad made it.
