Sarah didn't think something so horrible could happen to her. She was the quiet girl everyone never noticed. Until the one day she could go back and redo. After moving to Australia with her mom and younger siblings, Sarah hopes she can start over in a place where no one knows what happened to her in a place she wants to forget. The moment she gets there she knows that it won't be as smooth as she had hoped. She comes across four boys who play this loud sound of rock music that she doesn't particularly fancy. They call themselves 5 Seconds of Summer, which she finds to be a very corny band name. Pretty soon the boys she can't even stand at first, end up becoming her friends in a new place that she is now calling home.
One day, her secret that she has been trying so hard to keep is revealed to her new found friends. Will they judge her like her classmates back home? Or will they be different and welcome her in open arms?
