Ichika Hayashi is abandoned at the age of 18, she is left bearing a child by a man she wished she never came across. A few years after Sakura is born, her mother watches her father get killed by a titan attack during the fall of Shiganshina. At 22, she survives with her daughter and her older brother Kaiyo, both joining the military to stay fed and warm. Once Ichika dedicates to the scout regiment, an unfriendly captain takes a small interest in her, with the lurking eye of the person Ichika hates the most. When secrets unfold, Ichika tries to keep her daughter protected, but from more than titans.
