About 15 years after The Land of Stories- Worlds Collide, the period of peace seems like it's going to last forever. Alex is living happily in the Land of Stories with Arthur and their two children, and Conner and Bree are in the Otherworld with their three adopted children. But when Conner's 10 year old daughter, Carrie, finds The Land of Stories: Volume 2 in the family's attic and falls into the fairy tale world, she discovers many strange happenings, and what may be a new plot to take over the Fairy Kingdom.
