Megan Hill dreams of travelling abroad. Her Grandma took her brother to Spain when he was seven but the closest Meg got to it herself were postcards and souvenirs posted her.

After her parents were divorced soon after she turned eleven she has worked from 15 years of age to keep afloat financially. She  signed up to a penfriend service in Finland and has three penfriends, a male, Alex in Athens, one in Hong Kong and another in Malaysia.

Meg has left school and is now about to embark on continuing her studies at College, working part time in a supermarket.

Meg's relationship with her Mother has hit an all time low. She moved in with her Father and her circumstances are not as she planned. Her plan is to travel abroad for the first time.
