Jane Garner was your average 17 year old. She got A's on all her report cards, was a member of the debate team and volunteered at school fundraisers whenever she had time to spare. To the eyes of the public she was the child every parent wanted; she didn't argue when she was told to do chores, she kept her room tidy and she was never out partying. She was perfect.. But something changed the summer before her Senior year. She didn't go out to meet her friends as much as she usually did, she stopped going on runs and chose to spend the days in her room curled up with a book to read or a notebook to write in. The problem is no one saw these changes in her as concerning. They thought nothing more than "maybe she's just tired" and left it at that. They didn't ask her what was wrong but she wouldn't have told them even if they did. Because who would believe her? Who would believe that the girl who seemed to be perfect was in fact falling apart on the inside? Nobody..nobody at all.
