Agent Gary Kehr, thought the first report of an identity theft complaint from the Granite Counter King of the Tri-State was a file and forget. Probably some local high school kid pulling a prank. But then there was one from the music professor in Terre Haute. Then the dentist and church elder from Bloomington whose checkered past was outed on social media. Then a singing surgeon in South Bend got hacked. "There's more where that came from, Sweet Heart," Meatloaf, his boss joked, as a flood of Section 1028's hit Kehr's desk. There was one thing they all had in common. They all suffered from the same genetic defect: A love for Barbershop Quartet music.

PRAISE FOR THE GUEST

"Man, I thought it was gonna be like that Stephen King Room 237 thing, but it was different. Kinda funny. Liked it but it would be cool if there were like ghosts and shit too." Bill "Bubba" Duran, Little Rock, AR

"I thought it was a cute story. I've never let alcohol touch my lips so what happened to those barbershoppers after they downed the devil's drink seems only righteous. " Tiffany Pendergast, Marion, IL.

"Great story, well written. Very funny. Love the twist at the end." My Brother. P.S "Dude, you owe me a beer."

"Black looks good on you, Acacia" My breath hitched as I gradually turned around only to see Damien leaning against the door, smirking at my lingerie-clad figure. His hands tucked deep inside his pockets, his shirt slightly unbuttoned. His thumb playing with the wedding ring on his left hand. A mischievous smirk settled on his lips. A horrified scream left my mouth as I yelled, "D-Damien! Get out!" I covered my chest, almost frantic but he doesn't want me sane, he is driving me crazy! Damien chuckled, lowly, swiftly locking the door, walking closer to me as I moved back, knocking my hairspray down to the ground. His arm wrapped around my bare waist as his hands traced down my back, picking me up and placing me onto the countertop. "Damien, stop" I whispered, lowering my gaze as his fingers slid my strap off my shoulder before his lips trailed down my neck, softly breathing on my sensitive skin. His slender fingers gripping onto my hair, gathering them into a bunch My hands resting on his bare chest before I moved them to his collarbone and his neck. "So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance. We couldn't pass up a 4 million dollar art con. Each couple would have walked away with 2 million dollars and we could have settled down and finally started the family we had talked about for years. But he disappeared......in the middle of the night, abandoning me. Until he returned with a bullet hole in his arm and desperation in his eyes. Begging me to help him one last time, but could I ever forgive him? Could I ever look past his betrayal of leaving me in Tennessee to fend for myself and fight off the cops myself? ●●●●●●●●●●●●●● "What were the first words you ever spoke to me?" He asked softly, his thumbs wiping away the wetness from my cheeks. "No." I choked out. "Don't! I don't want to say it." "You said...Hi, my name is Alexis and I just moved into my grandparent's house across the street. Can I play with you? And I knew the moment I laid eyes on you...." "You were 10 years old, you didn't know shit." I croaked. "I may have been 10, but I knew a beautiful girl when I saw one. And you blew the rest of the world out of the water. I may have saved you by leaving you in Tennessee, but at least you still had your grandparents. I had no one if I didn't have you."

Meet Kyle and Kate, two 15 year old students who have a gift for thinking fast, quick, and smart. Oh, and meet the other 18 kids in their class. Some call them genius, some call them annoying. PART 1 The year starts off bad enough, that is, with earthquakes and snowstorms. And finally, when things starts to clear up, the first murder occurs. Right in front of their eyes. It seemed obvious who did it, but as the murderer wrote her confession, a completely different murder occurs across town. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. The government sent in spies to watch the class for suspicious behavior, two of them students themselves. Two other students are hired to try to figure things out on their own. What nobody realizes however, is what's important. As the year goes on, some of the students realize: -A secret passageway may not be limited to only the house. -The school has a basement -Falling down a flight of stairs can save lives A supposedly dead student wakes up from a coma, people start realizing things, all leading to the final, seemingly unimportant clue, that closed the gap from arresting the wrong person, to finding the real murderer.
