She stared out at the lake not really thinking about anything in particular. She had heard him follow her to the lake. "That was a nice punch I think you may have broken his nose." she heard him say. She didn't respond but just continued to stare out at the water. "What's your name?" he asked her his crazy hair all over the place. She didn't answer him this time either. "Well?" he asked again "I'm waiting." all she did was shrug.

As we reached my hotel room door, Christian pressed me against it, bring his lips to mine again. I pulled away swiping my card to unlock the room door. I turned back to Christian's implored eye and smile innocently. "No, you can't come in" "Please?" he begged, using the full effects of his eyes on me. I shook my head weakly knowing that if he asked again, I would cave in. His eyes pierced through me, causing me to squirm under his gaze. Suddenly, the elevator opens as Madison walked out with Warren by her side. *Rejected at First Sight* Spin-off series (By GirlWhoChasesRainbow) 🌶 "Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hits a wall. I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me.
