"Who's your mate? I don't want a mate!" I felt a sting in my heart as I said those words but I must say it. He looked hurt for a second but then smiled at me again. I won't be his mate. I just can't.

"You are my mate, you are mine. The Moon Goddess paired you with me." He said and touched my cheeks. "Always remember that and one more thing, I'm possessive when it comes to my mate, what's mine is mine only, Candice. I'll see you later." He added and kissed me on my forehead. He went into Dad's office and I was left here, standing all alone lost in my own thoughts. I can't fvcking believe it!
