Ruella has always known there is something wrong with her. She lives in Windhelm under the glaring of Ulfric Stormcloak. She hates this cold place and longs to leave.
Most of the land know Ruella Stormcloak and her engagement Reykr Silverblood. She hates it with a passion and hates him. He's a cruel man with a twisted temper.
Then the war breaks out and dragons return. Then strange things start to happen to Ruella.
Vulmer Kearis is a snow elf and has spent his life hiding from the eyes of Skyrim and the world. When he finds out, he is Dragonborn.
Being forced out in the open was never his idea of a good life but now he has no choice. As he travels to Windhelm, he finds Ruella Stormcloak.
As they escape Windhelm together, they set out to find answers to who they both are.
But will they survive the perilous journey?

After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. Honor of the Dragonborn
Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.Complete
