As I walked towards the door, I noticed some sort of light was on the other side. Maybe it's a way out? I evaluated my options. Either go through the mysterious door in the middle of the sewers that could be a way out, or stay in the cold, dark sewers where monsters could be. I'm going with the door one.
I twisted the doorknob and pulled the door, but it was like there was someone behind it. I pulled again, and the door opened, and a wave of cool air streamed out. That's weird. I felt a hand push me in the room, and I fell in, the door slamming shut. Before I knew what was happening, the lights started to flicker.
This wasn't a way out.
This is my original work for the "Welcome To The Blumhouse Writing Contest." I did not copy from anyone, this was my idea, if this seems like another book or something, it's purely coincidental. Please do not copy this because this took me time to write.

He starts to panic; he's the only one panicking; the unwanted guest, on the other hand, just stares at him with a smile as she throws her head back, letting out a chilling laugh. A Little More
This was unusual, I was normally home alone for a few hours before my parents arrived. "That's weird, why is everyone home?" I asked out loud. It was more for me then anyone else. "Aren't you home for a few hours by yourself?" Leslie questioned, her brown eyes staring into mine. "Yeah, I hope nothing bad has happened. Well only one way to find out" I said as I gathered up the courage to walk in. On the inside I was freaking out, my parents would only come home early if there was an emergency. I unlocked the door to hear voices coming from the living room. Dropping my bags I stopped dead in my tracks, one voice sounded very familiar a little too familiar. No it couldn't be him, we moved away years ago. He wouldn't have the nerve to face me after what he did, coward. Slowly dragging my feet I made my way to the living room. He finally did and when he unlocked the car doors I jumped out and hurried to my apartment not looking back at the devil in the car. I was scared of the future because I knew surely he would be back to check on his Queen. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. An eerie silence echoed through the house at the end of Yellow Brooke Street, the wind outside slammed toward the wooden walls making a whistle inside the house from the cracked windows; the front door made a thud each time it slammed toward the wall and the screams from the dead gave the house an uneasiness to it. I stood before the house, while my friends were excited to do the exact opposite of what our parents told us to; I was not. I trusted my mother when she told us to never get close to this place. "You guys ready?" Diana said with joy in her voice, I stuttered. "No.." the fear in my voice was obvious, though no one seemed to care. Dan glanced at me and chuckled. "Really? It's just a house." "It's a haunted house." I said nervously. "Maybe we should trust our parents on this, they told us that it isn't safe for a reason." "You wimp."
