Mia has had a confusing life right from the start. Her mother owns a huge company in New York City while 19 year old Mia Lakes lives in the outskirts of Los Angeles, in a fairly secluded and not well known area. At the age of 12, Mia's father passed away in a car crash, leaving the mansion which has been in his family name for generations rightfully belonging to his daughter. Because her mother lived in New York most of her life, Mia was closest to her father. Although she had all the money in the world and a huge home that would be hers forever, there were a few underlying and complicated problems.

Her life was indeed difficult, though everything seemed to change one evening when she met a group of people who would change her life forever. Encountering struggles along the way, meeting new people and making memories, Mia finds herself being immersed in events that she was sure she could have only dreamed of. It Started In The Cabin.
