A re-imagined idea of Spyro: Year of the Dragon and The Legend of Spyro: A new beginning combined together.
Every 156 full moons. (12 years) a purple Dragon is born. Legend has it that they will are destined hero of a historical event.
However a black Dragon is a bad omen that chaos and misfortune will be brought to whoever is near one. It is the law of the Dragon Kingdom that it should be executed when he is a cub so that they will do very little damage. However after 1300 full moons a black one manages to escape and will try to destroy every single creature that gets in it's way.
Is Spyro destined to stop this black Dragon?All Rights Reserved

What happens when the only dragon who can be the hero... isn't interested in the role at all? The Wings of Fire series belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. The dragons have come and gone since the Pliocene epoch when Wooly Mammoths roamed with humans during the ice age. For many of the I and E generation in the Americas and parts of Europe, it was something to avoid being taken by them to their world. But many knew the stories they told, the things they saw and missed, and in this world of social media, the child coming home, reborn as a shifter. For 16-year-old Nathan that was his reality. For 11 years he's not only avoided getting grabbed but helped others avoid a similar fate. But a black dragon was watching him grabbing him only to lay low in the nearby woods, something they did to pick out who'd they take. It did that for 10 years, more than 3 times longer than usual. His actions and the amount of time he had avoided them made him a sort of celebrity in his town in the midwest. But one day that black dragon made its decision, he was to be her hatchling. When they're usually marked the child could turn to protective mode, running from home to prevent drawing attention to other children for the picking, and that's what he did, right to where they last landed. Luck, choice, a possible spell in those claws, whatever you may think doesn't matter. A black dragon never misses its mark. With agility unsurpassed by the other types they're almost impossible to avoid. But these dragons didn't breathe fire, were a threat, nor in any way the size of a 747 max. All they had that was unique from other creatures was a highly evolved brain with the intelligence of a human and a heart of platinum. Note. Some creatures don't belong to me in any way. This story takes place in the Dragon Realm, one of many realms throughout the known universe, and two dragon eggs are about to hatch. These two dragon eggs are Spyro and Cynder both of which grew up in two different parts of the Dragon Realm. Spyro grew up in the Dragon Temple training to become the next Dragon Guardian. While Cynder grew up in the Dark Temple deep within the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana where the Dark Dragon Lord Galventer was training her to be evil. However, Cynder doesn't want to be evil, Galventer took notice of this and cast an evil forbidden spell on her and turned her into Dark Cynder. When Dark Cynder was sent on an assassination mission to eliminate the next Dragon Guardian, Spyro, she faced Spyro in a fight but Spyro could tell that Dark Cynder's real self was still inside her. This is the original version of A New Beginning I wrote a long time ago, so take it with a pinch of salt! Its not great but marks a special place as the first thing I ever wrote that was available to the public to read. An important milestone in anyone's life. Try not to judge too harshly haha. Marcelos was awaken and decided to finish his mission by ending all living thing with the thought and power that he can create a living of his own. At that same time, kid with supernatural powers and the power to control the only dragon were born, and there destiny is to stop Marcelos. Marcelos was a tiny bit to success after laying a lot of lives waste but the survivor of mankind born with special powers and other supernatural beings and creatures joined hands together to stop Marcelos and bring his reign to and end.
