With both parents gone the survey corps take them both in were they meet a group of friends ( 104 cadet squad as kids ) and each other .
Over the years they become really close but one day near the lake changed everything as Historia gets kidnapped .
Years pass by and Historia becomes stronger and she's no longer a fragile little girl Ymir remembers her by , while Ymir searches everyday for her in hopes of finding her .
