As the 17 year old daughter of a Major General, Alexis (Alex) Clark always has to have a smile on her face, even when all she wants to do is scream, especially when she's abused at home and  can't tell anyone.  Enter Liam Grey, stubborn and grumpy. He's the only one that see's right through Alex, and it's annoying. So when Alex is sent to Oregon on a secret mission for her father, she finds out that faking is her whole job.  Though it takes a while, Alex finds out that she needs Liam more that she thought, and that looks can be deceiving. Especially smiles.
