She was like a lost soul. So quiet. So seemingly thoughtful.
~
"What are you always thinking about?" He mused.
"Since it's in my head then it's clearly none of your business."
~
She just wanted him to leave her alone.
~
"Leave me alone," I said in annoyance.
"What if I say no," he said smiling mischievously.
~
She confused him yet managed to snag his interest.
~
"Dude why are you so hung up on that chick?" One of his friends laughed.
"I'm not hung up, I just can't figure her out," Liam said.
~
She didn't want or need anyone's friendship.....or maybe that was just what she made herself believe.
~
"I don't need anybody," I said gruffly.
"Everyone needs someone," he said softly.
~
She pushed him away but somehow he still got inside her head.
~
"I'm not sad," I said.
"Yeah, she just misses Liam," Chloe said.
"No I don't," I argued.
~
He brought out the best in her.....
~
"I did it!' I laughed with tears in my eyes.
"I told you so," he chuckled.
~
....and the worst.
~
"Don't touch me ever!" I yelled, the tears threatening to fall.
"I'm sorry Stormi," he said quietly.
"Don't call me that," I said and flounced out of the room.
~
And eventually, their worlds entwined.
~
"I love you too," he said smiling.
"But I never said I love you," I teased.
"You just did," he laughed in triumph.

Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
